There are some wedding days that feel like they’ve been plucked straight out of a dream, and Christy and John’s romantic winter wedding at The Madison Hotel was exactly that.
From the very beginning, Christy had one simple wish: snow. The kind that softly blankets everything in white, turning an already beautiful day into something magical. And somehow, as if the universe was listening, it arrived right on cue! Snowfall graced the morning of their wedding day like the most perfect, cinematic gift.
As the day unfolded, The Madison Hotel transformed into a cozy winter haven. Outside, fresh snow covered the grounds in a soft, glowing white, while inside, warmth, laughter, and so much love filled every corner. Christy’s vision came to life so effortlessly, especially through her stunning color palette of soft pinks and rich burgundies. Against the snowy backdrop, those tones felt even more romantic, delicate yet bold, classic yet deeply personal.
We knew that one of our nonnegotiables for the day was portraits in the snow. Of course, we were worried about Christy's dress getting muddy so we begged the hotel for a spare tablecloth and laid it down in the snow for C&J to stand on. It was the perfect solution and resulted in some of my favorite wedding day images to date!!
