The story of a photographer
When I was growing up, I had no idea that photography was the path that I wanted to take. In 2nd grade, I would've told you I wanted to be a Veterinarian. In 5th grade, I would've told you a professional horseback rider. Even in high school, I would have told you a teacher! Photography fell into my lap after years of forcing friends and family in front of my camera. I stumbled through life after high school struggling to find my purpose and passion in this world. I transferred to four different colleges (with four different majors!) within two years trying to figure out the loaded question of what I wanted to do with the rest of my life (a completely crazy question for a 17 year old, I think).
I was so busy doing things that I had thought that everyone else in my life wanted me to do, but I wasn't finding the thing that made my heart happy. SO, I did my research, found a school with a photography program, and decided to spend my time in school learning about my passion, and growing my technical skills. Now, I have an Associates degree in Photographic Technology and am currently earning my Bachelors in Photography!
But wait, there's more!
Along with photography, I am also a dog mom, gym goer, scented candle enthusiast, plant mom, barista and hockey fan (go NJ Devils!!). I LOVE to travel and meet new people.
This past year has been a hard one for me. I went on a self-love journey and have shared my story. I've helped countless women love themselves and recognize their worth. Doing this has helped me grow SO much as a person, and now I cannot wait to capture your story and what makes YOU YOU!

“I can’t say enough good things about Alex and her talent. My fiancé and I had an absolute blast with her and she made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I feel like she truly captured our relationship and I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else! After our shoot, we had already received some of our photos within a few hours. Alex knows how to make you feel comfortable and have fun while shooting, and is able to run her business with true professionalism.”
