Fall Charm and Golf Club Elegance
Katharina and Brian’s wedding day at SkyView Golf Club was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the rolling hills of Sparta, NJ, this venue offers sweeping views, charming stone bridges, and golden-hour light that feels like it was made for moments like theirs. From the very first look to their emotional vows and packed dance floor, every detail reflected the deep connection and joy they share.
The day started in the bridal suite, where Katharina got ready alongside her closest friends and family. Her lace gown was timeless, with delicate details that shimmered in the morning light. When she stepped into it, everyone in the room got quiet — it was one of those moments that takes your breath away. Brian got ready just down the hall, full of nerves and excitement, with his groomsmen keeping things light and fun.
Their first look took place on the porch of one of SkyView’s scenic cabins. Brian’s reaction to seeing Katharina was everything — tears, smiles, and a look that said “this is it.” These quiet, in-between moments are always some of my favorites to capture.
Their ceremony overlooked the golf course, with views that stretched across the mountains. There were happy tears, heartfelt vows, and the kind of laughter that makes your cheeks hurt. As they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife, the joy was absolutely contagious.
We explored the grounds for portraits, taking advantage of the dreamy views, rustic stonework, and soft sunset glow. Katharina and Brian are so natural together — playful, affectionate, and completely themselves. It was a dream to photograph a couple who so clearly adore one another.
The reception kicked off in SkyView’s bright and airy ballroom, with floor-to-ceiling windows and twinkle lights setting the scene. Every speech brought on more tears (and laughs), and their first dance was sweet and romantic. But once the party got going, it really got going — their guests kept the dance floor full all night long!
