Field to City: Engagement Session with Clean Lines and Golden Light


This engagement session with Katelyn and Rob was the perfect blend of natural beauty and modern elegance. We began at the scenic open fields of Natirar Park in Peapack-Gladstone, where the golden light poured over rolling hills and tall grass. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly the kind of setting where you can slow down and just focus on each other.


After exploring the fields, we made our way to Somerville County Courthouse—a total change of pace in the best way. The clean lines, stone architecture, and crisp backdrop added a chic, editorial feel to the session. The contrast between the two locations gave us such a wide variety of looks in one shoot—soft and organic at Natirar, then polished and urban in Somerville.


From barefoot walks in the grass to elegant portraits against marble columns, Katelyn and Rob brought so much warmth and intention to every frame. These two made it easy to capture the quiet in-between moments and the bold, dramatic ones.
